Backups & Client Responsibilities
Shared responsibility matters
We can design and implement backup solutions, but reliable IT always involves shared responsibility.
- Clients remain responsible for maintaining working backups unless specifically contracted
- Clients should use strong passwords and protect their credentials
- Recommended updates and maintenance should be actioned promptly
- No IT system is completely immune to failure, loss, or cyber risk
Response Times
Priority based on urgency
We prioritise requests based on impact and urgency. Full outages and critical faults are handled first, with general support and lower-priority requests scheduled accordingly.

Pricing, Scope & Changes
Work may be quoted as fixed-price, hourly, project-based, or under an ongoing service arrangement.

CCTV & Surveillance Systems
For UniFi Protect and other surveillance deployments, the client owns and controls recorded footage and remains responsible for lawful use and compliance.
Formal Agreements
For business and project work, we provide formal service agreements covering scope, responsibilities, privacy, security, and support arrangements.
